The deceased was identified as Peter Sifuna Wekesa.
Victim Found With Multiple Injuries
According to police, Wekesa was discovered lying on the floor of his house with multiple injuries, raising suspicion that he had been beaten to death.
Preliminary investigations indicate that some family members allegedly assaulted him after a disagreement, though the exact cause of the dispute is yet to be established.
Five Arrested, Including a Minor
Police confirmed that five members of the public have been arrested in connection with the incident, which occurred on Tuesday.
Among those detained is a 14-year-old boy, who is believed to have been involved in the assault.

The body of the deceased was moved to a local mortuary, where it is being held pending a postmortem examination and completion of other investigative procedures.
Rising Domestic Violence Cases Raise Alarm
Police and local leaders expressed concern over a worrying rise in fatal domestic disputes, both in urban and rural areas.
In a separate incident in Langalanga, Gilgil Sub-County, Nakuru County, police reported that a 73-year-old man was fatally hit on the head during a domestic altercation.
Authorities warned that unresolved family disputes are increasingly turning violent, leading to preventable loss of life.
Police urged families and communities to seek peaceful conflict resolution mechanisms and report threats early before situations escalate into fatal encounters.
