Vihiga: 70-Year-Old Man Arrested For Defiling A Minor Girl

A 70-year-old man is being held by police in Vihiga County on charges of defiling a 12-year-old girl.

According to Hamisi sub-county Police Commander Patrick Gogo, who verified the occurrence, the youngster in question was a third-grader.

The administrator denounced the event, pointing out that incest and defilement instances have been increasing in the area lately.

He claimed that while in police custody, the suspect is awaiting arraignment.

Following the occurrence, the public, the church, and civil rights organizations have all come out to denounce the heinous crime.
