Nairobi: Senior NIS Officer Commits Suicide In His House

According to police reports, a top National Intelligence Service (NIS) official committed suicide on Tuesday at his home in Nairobi’s Kilimani area.

When the senior official at the civilian intelligence agency did not arrive for work on Tuesday morning as scheduled, suspicion was aroused.

Additionally, his phone remained unanswered. Police claim that his colleagues tracked him to his home, where he is believed to have taken his own life by shooting himself.

The officer allegedly left a suicide note, according to sources.
