Just hours after Judge Grace Nzioka’s guilty verdict in the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani, convicted murder suspect Joseph “Jowie” Irungu released a new Gospel song.
Soon after Jowie was found guilty of the 2018 murder, around 2:00 pm on Friday, the song “Nakuabudu” was posted on YouTube.
In the song, Jowie sings, “Nakuabudu, nakusujudu, ni wewe… Yesu, milele…” extolling the virtues of God.
“Mikononi mwako Yesu, narejea,” he says further. Nalilia, miguuni mwako Yesu.”
With only an audio version available, the song has amassed over 7,000 views and more than 700 comments thus far.
The cover image for the single featured a picture of the vocalist with his hands lifted as if in prayer.
The majority of comments seem to be in favor of the artist, since several of them have left encouraging remarks.
