A 23-year-old lady has been taken into custody by detectives in the Kebaroti area of Kuria East on allegations of fatally stabbing her 3-year-old kid.
On Sunday, January 28, Area Assistant Chief Joseph Senzo verified the event, saying that the suspect had stabbed her 3-year-old child with a kitchen knife.
When detectives arrived at the scene on Sunday, they were able to confirm that 23-year-old Veronicah Nchangwa had stabbed her son in the stomach while he was sleeping at home.
When officers arrived on Sunday, the minor’s body was lying on the bedroom floor.
