Four young Kenyans who were abducted in December 2024 have made contact with their families.
On Monday morning, the relatives of Billy Mwangi, Peter Muteti, Bernard Kavuli, and Rony Kiplangat reported that their loved ones had reached out to them. Mwangi and Muteti were able to reunite with their families in person.
It was confirmed that Rony was located in Machakos County, while Bernard Kavuli, who was taken from Ngong, was found in Kitale.
Peter Muteti was discovered in Nairobi’s Central Business District, with his family noting that he is currently disoriented but recovering at home.
As of the latest updates, the location of cartoonist Kibet Bull remains unknown. His family has only received information from Rony Kiplangat, Kibet’s brother, who went missing prior to the cartoonist’s abduction.
Steve Mbisi, another individual reported missing, has yet to be located.
