Authorities are currently investigating an incident involving a middle-aged man who was discovered deceased in a guest room he had reserved along Kirinyaga Road in Nairobi.
A cleaner at the guesthouse reported that the man, who had checked in on Saturday morning, had not exited the room by the following day.
When the cleaner attempted to clean the room on Sunday morning, December 1, she noticed there was no response to her knocks.
Concerned, she informed the caretaker and other staff members, who subsequently contacted the police after realizing there was still no answer.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officials forced the door open and found the man’s lifeless body on the bed. Authorities have stated that the cause of death has yet to be determined.
The body has been transported to the mortuary for an autopsy and further investigation.
In a separate incident in Mutuini, Dagoretti, Nairobi, the body of 24-year-old Stephen Mugo was discovered in his apartment.
Local residents and police indicated that he had not been seen since the previous week, with his body found on Saturday, November 30. Officers reported that the body was located on the floor without any visible injuries and has been taken to the Kikuyu Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
