Detectives in Embakasi are currently probing a murder case that was reported in Mukuru Kwa Njenga, Nairobi, on Tuesday.

The incident involves an unidentified male who succumbed to injuries believed to be from a stabbing.

As per a report from the Villa Police Station, the victim was brought to Mukuru Kwa Njenga Level 4 Hospital by Good Samaritans around 1:00 a.m., who found him bleeding heavily at the Mukuru Kwa Njenga Primary School Field.

Upon examination by medical staff, a stab wound was identified on the left side of his body, just above the clavicle.

Despite medical efforts to save him, the man died from his injuries while receiving treatment.

Officers from both the Villa and Embakasi police stations responded to the situation, visiting the hospital where the deceased was taken.

A detailed examination confirmed the presence of a single stab wound.

The Scenes of Crime (SOC) team processed the area at Mukuru Kwa Njenga Primary School Field, and the victim’s body was subsequently moved to the City Mortuary for identification and an autopsy.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Embakasi has assumed responsibility for the case, which is still under investigation.

Authorities are urging the public to provide any information that may help identify the victim or lead to the arrest of those responsible for this tragic crime.
