A middle-aged woman has been taken into custody by Eldoret police in relation to her husband’s stabbing death in the Huruma area.
The couple’s relationship was regarded by neighbors as problematic, despite the lack of information regarding what transpired before the deadly stabbing.
They allegedly had a significant falling out on Saturday night, during which the wife allegedly attacked her husband with a kitchen knife, fatally stabbed him, and fled the scene.
As investigations get underway, police officers who went to the scene took the deceased’s body to the mortuary of Moi Teaching and Refferal Hospital.
In the meantime, the woman who is thought to be the main suspect in the murder has been put in legal custody and is awaiting her arraignment.
