Since going missing under suspicious circumstances during the anti-Finance Bill protests, Sammy Cullin Maina’s name and images have become disturbingly popular on the internet.

A close acquaintance claims that Maina vanished in the first week of June, sparking an online hunt by friends, relatives, and the public for his location.

According to Eddy Ollo, a friend of Maina, “He had gone to Ngara to visit a friend.”

However, on Sunday of this week, his family received devastating news: a body resembling his had been brought to the city mortuary by police.

The body was discovered close to a car wash and was listed as unknown.

The spokesperson for the traffic police, Mary Omari, stated, “The body was found in Kasarani.”

His friend Ollo continued, “But his family is left with so many unanswered questions.”
