Detectives have uncovered a dismembered human body believed to belong to Joy Fridah Munani, whose missing parts have raised grave concerns.

The shocking find occurred on Saturday when local residents noticed a suspicious sack floating in the Mathare River. Authorities have indicated that the evidence they possess strengthens their case against the murder suspect, John Kiama Wambua, who has been apprehended in connection with this heinous crime.

Munani was tragically killed by her boyfriend, Wambua, in Nairobi’s Huruma estate. Following the murder, Wambua was arrested on Tuesday while in possession of parts of her body concealed in a bag.

Further interrogation of the suspect led detectives to his rented accommodation in Huruma, where additional evidence was collected.

An autopsy conducted on the victim revealed that she succumbed to severe stab wounds to the chest, and her body had been decapitated. The suspect, implicated in this horrific act, will remain in custody until he faces charges of murder under the penal code.
