Results for the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations are anticipated to be announced today.
Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba previously stated in December 2024 that the results would be made public during the second week of January 2025.
The examinations commenced on October 28, with a total of 965,501 candidates participating at 10,755 examination centres nationwide.
CS Ogamba reported that the Ministry of Education identified 621 instances of examination malpractices, which were documented across 198 examination centres.
This year, the government engaged 32,800 examiners, an increase from 29,876 in 2023, to facilitate prompt and precise marking, noting that the marking of the KPSEA examinations has already been finalized.
