Authorities are actively searching for a man believed to have fatally attacked his brother using an arrow and a machete.

As reported by law enforcement in Kerio Valley, Elgeyo Marakwet County, the suspect was involved in a conflict with his deceased sibling.

Subsequent reports suggest that the two brothers had recently met to reconcile after a prior disagreement in the Kaben area.

Their mother, Kimoi Somokwony Suter, was present during this reconciliation meeting at their residence in Marich, situated in Boroko village, where the brothers reportedly settled their differences.

However, 33-year-old Elkana Kiprono Kisang allegedly deceived his brother into going to a nearby shopping center, where he launched the attack.

His 35-year-old brother, Edward Kiptarus Kisang, who has now passed away, suffered injuries to his neck and the right side of his chest.

The deceased’s body has been transported to Tot Hospital mortuary as investigators continue their search for the suspect.
