Two individuals lost their lives at the scene in the Kipisarwet region along the Bomet-Narok highway due to an accident on Saturday night, which involved a motorcycle taxi and a bus.
As reported by Amos Namasaka, the traffic chief of Bomet County, the Narok Kisii Classic bus was involved in a head-on collision with the approaching motorcycle taxi.
Both the rider of the motorcycle taxi and his passenger succumbed to their injuries, and their remains were transported to the mortuary at Longisa Hospital.
Namasaka further stated that the exact circumstances surrounding the accident have yet to be determined, and the wreckage has been moved to Longisa police station for further investigation.
