A man from Kajiado has received a life sentence after being convicted of the sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl.
Dominic Manua was reported to have committed the crime in February 2022.
In delivering the judgment, Principal Magistrate Vicky Kachuodho of the Kajiado Law Courts determined that the prosecution had established Manua’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) stated, “The court further acknowledged that the witnesses’ testimonies were credible, consistent, and thoroughly corroborated.”
The prosecution team included Edith Ireri, Gladys Bor, Angela Odhiambo, Winny Bati, Maureen Ooko, and Muviu Kilunda, as noted by the ODPP.
