Two high school students are being detained by police in Keumbu, Kisii County, after it was alleged that they had a stolen posho mill funnel in their possession.

It is said that the enormous machinery was removed from their school’s posho mill. Dennis Bikeri, the area chief for Keumbu, verified the occurrence.

The two students, one in Form 4 and the other in Form 2, are allegedly suspected by the authorities of taking the aforementioned equipment from their school.

According to police, it is unknown where the suspects were taking the funnel, which is believed to weigh several kilograms.

On Monday, September 16, the two suspects will appear in court.
