Two vehicles were involved in a horrific traffic accident in Kericho County that claimed the lives of three individuals on Friday morning.
Police reports state that at approximately six in the morning, a Nissan Double Cabin registered as GKB 450D and a Mercedes Benz truck registered as 675V/SSD669AA carrying LPG gas crashed head-on as they moved in opposite directions. The exact circumstances of the event are still unknown.
The three occupants of the car, two men and a woman, died instantly in the crash.
The driver of the trailer survived the accident and he was rushed to the Fortenan Sub-county Hospital for emergency care.
Since then, the deceased deceased have been conveyed to the mortuary of St. Vincent Hospital in Muhoroni for storage while an identification and postmortem are conducted.
