Following the discovery of an abandoned foetus by the side of the road, police in Konoin, Bomet county, arrested two women on Monday.
Assistant Chief Samuel Kirui of chemal Sub-location verified the incidence and added that it’s possible the fetus ended up on the road in the wee hours of Monday.
Kimulot police station personnel nabbed the primary suspect. Later, she was brought to the Chebangang Health Centre for an examination and check-up.
Police believe that a second suspect, who is also a woman, may have hosted the primary suspect and that she was taken into custody in relation to the incident.
For more interrogation and investigation, the two women were brought to the Kimulot Police Station.
