A 32-year-old lady is being held by police in Mbooni East, Makueni County, on suspicion of killing her 82-year-old husband.
The couple got into a fight about Ksh. 3,000, with the deceased accusing his young wife of taking the money, according to Albanus Mutula, the assistant chief of the region.
It is said that Syombua Musau stoned her husband on the back, subsequently killing him.
While she waits to be arraigned, the woman is being detained at the Mbumbuni Police Station.
The old man’s body was taken to the morgue in Tawa.
The administrator advised the people to resolve their conflicts peacefully and without resorting to drastic measures.
