In Suba South, Homa Bay County, the Magunga Level 4 Hospital is housing a 23-year-old mother and her son. The 2-year-old son and the woman were attacked by her now-fugitive husband.
The man chopped off her three fingers and inflicted injuries on the toddler after hitting him with a blunt object. He then fled the scene at Magunga trading center.
According to Richard Ojuok, the head doctor at Magunga Hospital, the two are currently in stable condition at the facility where they were brought following the event.
Sebastian Okiring, Deputy County Commissioner for Suba Sub County, verified the occurrence and stated that a manhunt has been started for the offender, who is still at large.
