Following the discovery of a 20-year-old lady who had gone missing from her house two weeks prior, found raped and murdered in the Kinare bush, fear has descended upon Kinare village in Lari, Kiambu County.
According to police, the girl’s body was discovered in the forests, drenched in blood, and bearing signs of sexual abuse.
Her remains were taken to the mortuary of the Naivasha District Hospital.
Locals have voiced complaints about the forest, citing the murder scenarios they have seen there as evidence that it has become a haven for criminal activity.
